Hearts of Gold Competition Team

In 1994 we started the Hearts of Gold Competition Team.  The H.O.G.s competed in Columbus, OH where they brought home the "Overall Novice Team" trophy that year. This was the first of hundreds of team, solo and duo competitions these girls entered.  In 1996 the girls appeared on the Jenny Jones "Most Talented Kids" show in Chicago. What an awesome experience!

Midwest Clogging Workshop and Hills of KY Competition

In 1994 Glenn and Fonda Hill, along with Bill and Pat Harkleroad, started the Midwest Clogging Workshop in conjunction with the Hills of Kentucky Competition. The Clogging Workshop portion continues to be held annually.

Glenn Hill leaves a great clogging legacy

On Thanksgiving Day 1995, just as the 2nd annual Workshop and Competition was about to begin, Glenn Hill suddenly passed away at his home. Through the pain and emotions of such a great loss, the Hills of Kentucky "family" continued with the preparation and presented a great event for cloggers from around the country. Just as Glenn would have wanted it!! To this day, the Clogging Workshop continues with Glenn in mind; and is known in some circles as "THE social event of the year."
